Server Migration
As part of our services we also offer Server Migrations. Which means that we will assist you in moving all sites and webpages, users, email accounts, MySQL databases, and DNS records from one server to another.

* Due to software limitations migration from blueonyx to bluequartz is not currently possible.

A typical migration takes between 3-4 hours of time and we can perform IP address renumbering during the migration. Or we can keep the IP addresses of all sites as they were on the source server. However, if the IP addresses are supposed to remain the same, then the source server needs to be powered down as soon as the import of the websites on the target server starts.
We will need SSH access to both machines to do the migration.
We can also integrate multiple machines into one machine, the most common example of this is a customer with multiple RaQs who wants to migrate all of their sites onto one or more BlueQuartz or BlueOnyx machines. This will take longer then a typical migration.
